My work starts with a research on the current state of the virtual world. In the research video, I combined the ideas of Greet Lovink and Jean Baudrillard to summarise three characteristics: 1. the density of time and space compressed, 2. Algorithms and AI are influencing the human mind and behaviour. 3. the disintegration and confusion of meaning. This leads me to believe that in the future people will face an explosion of emptiness and meaninglessness.
